Silk Painting Workshop

Silk Painting Workshop with Sue Jurd

9am start - 4.30pm finish
Lunch provided

All equipment will be provided.

Students will paint or dye four scarves during the day and will experiment with a number of techniques. Scarves will be completed and ready to take home by the end of the session. Students will be working with fibre reactive dyes, some common household chemicals, hot wax and shellite.

Cost for the workshop will be $120 per student. This includes all dyes, equipment, four scarves and tuition. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Art in the Woolshed

Art in the Woolshed was first held in 1997 to provide a venue for members, friends & invited artists & artisans to display their work in the form of a social gathering, and what better venue than of course a woolshed, to reflect the grass roots of the group.
